What Is Veterinary Physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy assesses and treats musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. From post-surgery recovery to age-related issues, we help dogs heal, regain strength and move more freely. All treatments are hands-on, gentle, and tailored to each dog’s needs.

Conditions We Treat

We work with dogs of all ages, breeds and abilities. Physiotherapy helps with

Cruciate ligament injuries (including TPLO recovery)
Arthritis, hip and elbow dysplasia, and luxating patella
Soft tissue injuries and muscle tears
Neurological conditions (IVDD, Wobbler Syndrome)
Spondylosis and osteochondritis dissecans (OCD)
Poor posture, muscle wastage, and stiffness

What to Expect in a Session

Your dog’s first session includes a consultation and full gait analysis. We check posture, muscle symmetry and any discomfort signs. Based on this, we begin targeted treatment — using massage, stretching, and therapeutic techniques to support recovery or optimise function.
